Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. She was an official CBS News correspondent from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politically biased piece in 2012 Benghazi as "the most costly mistake I've made in the past 10 years." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media group) in 2019. In January 2020, she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News offers a subscription-based streaming service. In March 2022, she said she was "dumped" by the network. Logan was a student as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989), then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior production producer. After four years then, she switched to freelance journalism. The assignments included an editor/reporter/reporter for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. CNN reported on the events that took place in the Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
