Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011); White House deputy director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki contributed to CNN's political coverage of 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then was appointed the the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign. From 2005 to 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 and was the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. There was speculation that she would replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21However, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30 in 2014. She was named Communications Director at the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end in 2015.
